Hybrid Systems Ltd., Inc is an Illinois corporation formed in 1986. We are located 20 miles east of St. Louis on the campus at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. For over 30 years, HSL has developed and marketed affordable and reliable solutions for the CA-IDMS marketplace. These products have helped organizations reduce costs and improve productivity. Our suite of Year 2000 tools saved many companies several hundred thousand dollars in Y2K remediation costs. HSL continues to support the many clients who rely on CA-IDMS and HSL products for their mission-critical applications.

HSL was formed by three friends. Today, HSL is co-owned by two of those founders: Phil Loethen and John Holtmann. Dick Brinson, President of DBSoft, and Tim Benton, President of CRMI, round out the HSL team.
