"Today over 3,000 officers and civilians use the HSL Information System. We have even expanded the use of HSL outside the Police Department to City Hall, other law enforcement agencies, and to the prosecuting attorney's office. We have implemented the HSL sign-on screen and CV to CV communication to improve throughput and provide additional functionality.

The on-line report viewing has saved us a ton of money by reducing paper consumption and printing costs. Over half of all our reports are on-line.

The officers are more productive. They have easier access to their applications, can check their e-mail, review the various crime reports and quickly be back on the street.

In a nutshell, the users like and use the software, we are saving money, and everyone is more productive."
